OEM & private label

Contract Furniture Manufacturer: OEM and Private Label for European Brands

Tiksoja Puidugrupp is a contract furniture manufacturer in Estonia producing 125,000 solid wood beds a year for leading brands across Europe. We manufacture under your label and to your specifications, backed by a factory operating since 1997 and partnerships averaging more than twenty years.

What we manufacture

Solid Scandinavian pine beds, with MDF components where a design needs them. Adult bed frames, children’s beds, bunk beds, loft beds and high sleepers, youth beds, wardrobes and chests of drawers. Around 1,000 items already exist in our range, and any of them can be adapted into your product.

A few things we don’t do:

  • Sell under our own brand. Private label is the only way we work, so we never compete with you in your own market.
  • Ship to your end customers. We manufacture in volume and deliver to your warehouse.

How a project runs

1

Enquiry and specification

You send drawings, samples, reference products or a written brief. We come back with feasibility and an indicative price.

2

Adaptation for production

We adjust the design so it can be built repeatedly at volume without losing what makes it yours. This is where most of our value comes from.

3

Pricing and MOQ

Confirmed unit price, minimum order, and packaging specification.

4

Pre-production sample

A physical sample built on production tooling, for your approval before the run starts.

5

Series production

7 to 8 weeks from confirmed order.

6

Delivery

On your Incoterms, to your warehouse or your distribution partner.

Design and development support

Three ways in, depending on how far along you are.

Tiksoja factory

Build to your drawing

You have a finished design and technical documentation. We adapt it for production and provide a quote.

Tiksoja solid wood furniture

Adapt an existing model

You start from something in our range and change dimensions, finish, fittings, or storage configuration. Fastest route to market.

Co-develop from scratch

You have a concept, a price target, and a market. We develop the product with you.

In practice, every project involves some adaptation, because a drawing that works on screen does not always work on a production line. Flexibility is one of our biggest strengths. We make the client’s idea happen in the way that is most feasible to build.

Product images and video

We also create CGI product images and video, so your catalogue, listings and marketing assets are ready before the first container ships. Product development, manufacturing, imagery and logistics are our job. The only part we do not handle is selling to the end consumer.

Private label and packaging

Every bed leaves here as your product. Your brand on the packaging, your assembly instructions, your labelling. Packaging is specified with you during the pricing stage and confirmed before the pre-production sample.

Packaging materials are recycled, and manufacturing is paper-free, with solar energy contributing to site power. For brands with sustainability reporting obligations, that is a supply chain that holds up under scrutiny.

Why source from Tiksoja Puidugrupp

EU manufacturing, no tariff exposure

Your beds are made in the EU. That means no long-haul freight, no anti-dumping duty exposure, and no surprise reclassification of goods in transit.

Short reorder cycles

A 7- to 8-week lead time means you can restock on real sell-through instead of forecasting two quarters out. Transit within the EU takes days, not the six to ten weeks of sea freight from the Far East.

Full supply chain

We cover the whole supply chain from product creation and production to CGI product presentation in video and photography.

Timber you can trace

FSC-certified material: durable Scandinavian solid pine, sourced locally, with full chain of custody documentation.

EN-certified construction

Products are EN certified, built and specified to pass the required safety and durability testing.

Water-based finishing

Eco-friendly, water-based, with UV protection that keeps the finish looking right over time.

Certified finishes

All finishing materials are EN 71 compliant and POP accredited.

Recyclable packaging

Corrugated cardboard and plastic foils, both fully recyclable.

Quality, standards and audits

  • FSC-certified timber
  • EN 747 safety, strength and durability requirements for bunk beds and high beds
  • EN 1725 safety, strength and durability requirements for adult beds
  • BS 8509 safety requirements for children’s beds
  • EN 71-compliant and POP accredited finishing materials
  • SMETA 2-pillar social audit

A SMETA 2-pillar audit gives retailers and larger brands documented information about labour standards, health and safety, and ethical working practices within their supply chain.

Finishing is water-based with UV protection, which prevents knots from yellowing through the coating over time. Timber yield runs at 70%, and the remainder heats the factory. All waste is recycled.

Track record

27 years in production. Partnerships averaging over twenty years. Leading European bed and furniture brands manufacture with us, and 100% of our output goes to export markets in Germany, France, the UK, the Netherlands, and beyond.

We do not publish partner names, but we will walk you through comparable projects in a product presentation once a conversation is underway.

You are welcome to visit our factory in Estonia, near Tartu. We invite prospective partners to see the production line, 40 robots, and AI-assisted quality-sorting process firsthand.

Frequently asked questions

Can you develop custom products for our own brand?

Yes. We can build to your drawings, adapt an existing model from our range, or develop a product with you from a concept and a price target.

What is the minimum order quantity for a custom model?

It depends on the product and the tooling involved. Send us your specification and we will confirm the minimum alongside pricing. For items from our existing range, minimums start at 30 pieces per item.

Do you manufacture from our drawings or your own designs?

Either. We always adapt a client’s requirements so the product can be built repeatably at volume.

What is the lead time?

7 to 8 weeks from a confirmed order for series production. Development and sampling sit ahead of that.

Do you have a social audit?

Yes. We hold a SMETA 2P audit, alongside FSC and the EN safety standards for beds and finishing materials.

Can we visit the factory?

Yes, and we recommend it. We are based in Tähtvere, just outside Tartu, and we host buyers regularly, as well as running public Open Factory Days. You will see the full line, the robotics, and the quality control process.
